Three 2018 Food Trends I'm Excited to Try

I’ve been reading a lot of “healthy food trends in 2018” articles this month so I thought it would be fun to share some of the ones I’m excited to try.

Moroccan Food

I’ve made some Middle-Eastern recipes but I’m hoping to expand out my knowledge of this cuisine in 2018. We eat a ton of Asian or Italian dishes in the Thiel household so it will be fun to test out some new flavors!

Mushrooms

I love mushrooms but haven’t been eating them lately. So this year, I want to use more mushrooms in dishes because they give such a meaty taste to everything. I’m looking forward to warm temperatures where we can grill up some mushroom-beef burgers!

Bowl Foods

I had Poke in Seattle on our honeymoon and loved it so I’m on the lookout for more bowl foods (either to eat out or make at home). I really want to make an Acai bowl at home and see how my food styling skills work out but that might have to wait until it’s a little warmer!
