We are in the last month of 2018 and it’s been a crazy year! So let’s get into some quick goals I’m setting for this month.
Enjoy the Reindeer Run 10K (no matter what pace I run at): I don’t know if I got my racing bug out at the Turkey Trot and my sub-25 minute 5K but I’m not feeling the need to run for a PR at my 10K next weekend. Instead, I’m going to go have fun and enjoy my last race of 2018 (plus try to keep warm).
Continue to do hip-opening stretches after runs (I’ve been trying to at least do pigeon pose and I’ve been feeling much better on my runs).
Continue my nightly meditation practice and using the Insight Timer app (which has tons of guided meditations for free!)
Don’t be afraid to head on the treadmill for runs if it feels safer (especially since it’s getting dark so early and we’ve had our first snowfall that’s going to stick around)
Enjoy the holidays! It’s going to be a very busy and exciting Christmas so I’m glad that I’ve got a long break from work for it.
