March is almost done and it’s been an amazing month! We’ve been getting more and more spring-like weather and it’s finally feeling like we are going to get out of winter. So here are some of my favorite things in March.
I started listening to this on my runs last week and it’s just amazing. Neil Gaiman narrates the audiobook version and he’s an amazing narrator. Plus I love mythology and haven’t gotten much into Norse mythology (beyond the super basic stories).
I’ve been listening to the BibRave podcast since the summer and it’s a great podcast. Tons of information about running and lots of fun topics. I’ve even listened to a couple of the podcasts because of the great information (when I start tapering I’ll be listening to their podcast on tapering)!
I’m still loving carrot cake oatmeal and having it a couple of times a week! It’s easy enough to shred up carrots in a couple of seconds for the week and I’m getting in an extra serving of vegetables without much effort.
Yes, I’ve been running in shorts and it’s been between 32-45° when I’ve been running in shorts. But after wearing layers for so long over the winter, it’s so freeing to be wearing shorts. With how high my mileage is I’m not even feeling cold on these runs!
I’ve been mainly using this workout for my cross-training (along with some time on the elliptical) now that my mileage is getting up to 50 miles every week. It’s completely bodyweight so I can do it right in the apartment if I need to but still challenging.
