For the last two months, I've been incorporating hill repeats into one of my short runs every week. I use the first and last half miles to warm up and cool down but otherwise I’m running up and down a hill by our apartment.
I’ve found that running hill repeats has helped me feel stronger running up and down hills on my regular runs plus it’s made me more aware of my form while running in general. I pay a ton of attention to form on hill repeats, making sure I’m not leaning so far forward and going all out on the down hill and taking shorter steps while running uphill.
