I was super excited that my Buff Coolnet UV+ Headband came when it did, it was the week we hit 90 for the first time this summer and it was hot in St. Paul the whole week! Of course, that meant that my weekday runs were inside but that didn’t stop me from wearing this headband.
Being in my third trimester means I get sweaty even when working out in the air conditioning and this Buff headband kept me cooler no matter how or where I was working out. Indoor track running, treadmill running, outside running or kettlebells, this headband has seen me through it all and kept me cooler (plus extra protection from the sun when I’ve worn it outside).
Usually, in the summer, I switch from a hat to a visor for my runs outside because my head gets too sweaty with a hat. But the visor still collects sweat which can get uncomfortable (especially on long runs when I was training for the Twin Cities Marathon). But I don’t have that problem with the Buff Coolnet UV+ Headband. It’s lightweight so I don’t feel it as I run and I don’t feel any sweat (or sunscreen) dripping down my face while I run. Plus, it’s super comfortable to wear while wearing my glasses and Aftershokz Trekz Airs!
