June is almost over and it’s been a busy month! Of course, July is going to be even busier as I get closer to my due date. So let’s go over how I did with my goals in June and what my goals are for July.
Read 4 books
I’m really close to finishing this goal for the month! I’ve finished three books and I’m in the middle of both an audio and e-book so hopefully I will finish one of them before Monday. Here's what I read in June:
Cribsheet by Emily Oster
The Forbidden Queen by Anne O’Brien
The Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn
Continue weekly yoga
I’ve been doing yoga every Friday and it’s feeling great! I also did a couple of pre-work yoga sessions on Fridays when I worked from home which really helped with the morning stiffness I was feeling.
Start meal prep
I’ve gotten a Google doc put together with nine different meals to throw together for when baby comes! Most are ones that we can put into the pressure cooker (along with a couple that needs to be baked) so hopefully it will keep us from just ordering a ton of takeout as we settled in as a family of three.
Get ready for baby
July is going to be full of getting ready for baby boy since he could come at any time! Besides getting our freezer full of prepped meals, I’m also hoping to get a deep clean of the apartment done and finish getting his nursery set up (even though he’ll be sleeping in our room for as long as possible, it will be nice to have the nursery set up). Of course, Mike will be helping me with this.
Read three books
Continuing on working through my goal of reading 36 books in 2019. I have a couple of books ready to go so hopefully I can keep on track with my reading.
Continue doing feeling what feels good for workouts
I had my final run until I’m recovered from delivery (I was getting pain on my right hip while running so it wasn’t worth it at all) so I’m trying to keep up my regular exercise schedule with other things. Luckily, walking, strength training, elliptical, stairmaster and biking all still feel great!
