July is over and it’s been a busy month! We’re basically right up on my due date now which means this post is going to be quick and simple. Let’s get into how my goals went in July and what my goal is for August.
Get ready for baby
We are as ready for a baby as we can be! The nursery is set up, car seat is installed, hospital bag is mostly packed and freezer meals are ready. Now to just wait and see when he decides to come.
Read three books
As of writing this post, I’ve finished three books and I have two others in progress!
The Lady in the Tower: The Fall of Anne Boleyn by Alison Weir
The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides
The Department of Sensitive Crimes by Alexander McCall Smith
Continue doing feeling what feels good for workouts
I’ve been doing a lot more cardio sessions in July since strength training just hasn’t been exciting me. Especially the last two weeks of July, with how far he’s dropped, I just haven’t felt comfortable doing weighted exercises.
I have only one goal for August, have a healthy baby and enjoy the first weeks of parenthood! This means there won’t be many (if any) blog posts up once he comes and I’ll be enjoying/surviving a newborn baby. Which is going to mean a lot of Netflix watching and late-night audiobook nursing sessions.
